PickNite is operated by MrRevilo LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and handled when you use the PickNite mobile application and website.

1. Age Eligibility

PickNite is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years old. Users must confirm that they meet this age requirement when creating an account.

We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use PickNite. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may delete the account and associated data.

2. Information We Collect

When you use PickNite, we may collect and process the following information:

• Account information: Email address, username, user ID, and authentication information.
• Movie activity: Ratings, swipes, watchlist selections, and other movie preferences.
• Social activity: Friend connections, friend requests, and shared movie preferences.
• Search information: Movie search queries submitted to retrieve movie results.
• Technical information: Information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot our services, which may include request metadata and service logs.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create, authenticate, and manage accounts.
• Provide movie discovery and personalized recommendations.
• Calculate movie-taste and compatibility results.
• Maintain watchlists and friend connections.
• Operate, secure, and improve PickNite.
• Respond to support and privacy requests.

4. Information Shared With Other Users

PickNite includes social features. When you connect with friends, certain profile information, movie selections, and shared watchlist information may become visible to those friends through the app.

Your password and private authentication credentials are not displayed to other users.

5. Service Providers and Movie Data

PickNite uses Supabase for services such as authentication, database storage, and server-side functions. Information processed through these services supports the operation of PickNite.

We use The Movie Database (TMDB) to retrieve movie information. Movie search terms may be transmitted through our server-side services to TMDB to provide relevant search results.

These providers may process technical information associated with service requests under their respective policies and applicable agreements.

6. Data Security

We use authentication, access controls, and encrypted network connections designed to protect information. However, no electronic system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and movie activity information while it is needed to provide PickNite and maintain your account, unless a longer period is required for legitimate security or legal purposes.

Some information may remain temporarily in backups or service logs after account deletion, subject to applicable retention practices.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your PickNite account through the app or request assistance by contacting us.

Account deletion removes your profile, ratings, swipes, and friend relationships from our active database. General movie catalog information may remain.
